Final Flight Leg and Arriving in Sierra Leone
We got on our flight to Paris. It was nice to have most of us fairly close together on the flight. We had a short time in Paris at the airport. Got some coffee recharged electronic device and took a chance to get to know each other better. Mike likes to be the jokester of the group. I don’t think any of us got much sleep in on the flight from Paris to Freetown. Dawn beat me at a game of checkers on the in flight media system. Leaving the airport was quite the experience and spectacle. We had a large group of young men that insisted on helping us get to the World Hope vehicles. Curtis and I got to ride in the World…
Packed And Ready For Sierra Leone
On Sunday our team met and got all the supplies packed up for our trip. This week we have all been making final preparations for the trip. I’m planning on posting regular updates to my blog which you can also subscribe to as well. Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Last Run Before Sierra Leone
I really didn’t want to get up this morning but I wanted to get 1 more run in before heading to #SierraLeone #Africa tomorrow. Despite having to drag myself out of bed I got another #PR for farthest distance in 1 hour, not bad. Warmer Weather Means More Morning Runners
Great weather for a run this morning. Starting to see a lot more runners out in the mornings now.
