Enjoyed another 5+ mile training run this morning, even with the light snowfall. Since the ground is pretty warm the sidewalks were nice and clear. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun Give to clean water: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr Even though the #RiverBankRun has been postponed to the fall I’m still sticking with the training plan that I’m working through for now. I haven’t signed up for any virtual races yet but I might so so. Let’s hope that the #COVID19 pandemic gets under control and more races don’t get cancelled into the summer months.

There is a lot of planning and work involved with putting in a quality well that will sustain a village for years to come, and through long dry seasons. I haven’t stopped my 25K training plan, but there won’t be a race to finish out the training. I’m considering a Virtual Race, but it will be more money spent. We’ll see what this year brings for running.

I count myself blessed that with everything going on in the world I am still able to get out and put some miles in early on a Tuesday morning. In these uncertain times there is one thing that is certain, there is still a need for clean water. Without clean water it becomes real hard to promote sanitation.
