Thanks to my amazing wife I went from a tiny desk to a nice big desk for when I work from home. I might be working from home more often now. 😉 ​
Back At It With The Daybreak Group Runs
My phone died and my watch powered off at around the 5 mile mark. I ended up doing 7.5 miles by the finish. This was my longest run to date. I’m feeling a little more comfortable with the idea of doing the half marathon in the fall. [endomondowp type=’workout’ workout_id=’885243077′] Daybreak

These are all things I need to start doing. By God’s grace I haven’t got any injuries yet but if I keep pushing myself and don’t do the things I should I’m going to hurt myself and then I’ll be out for running altogether.
Thankful During The Storms
It’s easy to be thankful when things are going good, even though I think we forget to be. It’s an even greater challenge to be thankful in the storms of life. If we would only take time to be be thankful, and to show appreciation for others, lifr would look very different I suspect. Back At The 5K Training
I got back outside and returned to using Endomondo for my 5k training. Today’s training had 10 very fast intervals which really seemed to kick my butt by the last couple but I made it through. I did have a personal best for a 5K which was awesome given I’ve been out of it for a week. Was glad to be outside and back into the running routine. God Equips
I’ve heard it said many times “God equips the called, He doesn’t necessarily call the equipped.”. The statement from my devotions this morning reminded me of that fact. Recently in our small group we talked about the storms we have in life.
