Having Your Bowels Cut Your Run Short
Yeah, it’s not pleasant to talk about, but as a runner you generally are aware of the things that can happen while on a long run. And when you aren’t someplace where you can find a well placed #JohnnyBlue things get interesting real quick. I had to cut a couple of miles off my long run this morning in order to literally make a run for the restroom. It didn’t kill my pace, I suppose it maybe helped to some degree. It doesn’t happen very often to me but I’ll have to be a little more cautious in the future.
Some Days Are Just Tough Ones
Today’s run started off good but the second half was a tough to get through. It wasn’t a terrible training run but it wasn’t my best. When someone in Sierra Leone needs to make a trip to find water, there can be some good days, or some bad day. Running To The Worship Beat
This week starts a switch up of my Monday and Tuesday running schedule. All I can say is that the Spirit was moving while I listened to the worship music. My run was pretty much kicked onto high gear but the whole time the music was speaking to right where I’m at these days. Being In Charge Of The Thanksgiving Turkey
As a former food service director, I was put in charge of baking the Thanksgiving turkey. It’s coming along nicely. We’ll see how people like it at lunch time.
