Kicking Things Up A Notch
Today my training run was kicked up a notch with some interval speed work. It definitely tested how recovered I am from the marathon. It’s been awhile since I have done any high intensity runs of substantial length. These sorts of runs do make it hard to spend a lot of time focusing on prayer unfortunately. Getting Out The Door And Pounding Some Pavement
I went from half falling asleep while I was getting my shoes on to pounding out 5.9 miles. All it takes is getting out the door. #HWI #HessLakeRun #GRMarathon #Run4Water #GodTime
Finished Another 5.43mi Run Today
I headed back outside as the temperatures rose and the snow subsided. Even though the temperature was still in the teens there was no wind so it made for decent running conditions. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RiverBankRun
Cool Morning Interval Run Focusing On My Family
Decided to “follow” the #Endomondo training plan today to get a longer interval run in. So far I’ve been doing some mix of the #HWI training plan and the Endomondo one. We’ll see how well that works out for me. It was a very cool morning for a run, I was pretty surprised when I stepped out the door. It made for great weather for a run. While I listened to a #worship running mix I focused on praying for my wife and kids. Life has been challenging recently with the kids. I’m glad they are back in school but that is presenting it’s own challenges as well. #GRMarathon #Run4Water
