Praying For Rain And Wells In Sierra Leone

As I felt the light rain coming down as I ran I couldn’t help but think of and the long drive season they, putting a strain on water supplies. I especially thought of the village of and their struggles for water. I continue to pray for the rains needed to grow their crops and restore their water supplies. I also pray that Ronkorhun would see the miracle of a new drilled well in their village sooner than anyone could have expected.

The torsion spring winding today I ordered from Amazon arrived today so I got to work removing the old broken spring in order to measure so I could order the new one. Found some great detailed instructions on replacing and measuring the spring. Hopefully I can get the right spring ordered and get this garage door fixed so we can have out garage stall back. I completed my 2nd marathon today, finishing with an average pace time of 1:01 better than last year. It was still a tough last 3-6 miles of the run, but I finished with a good run the last 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile. I took it a little easier on one of the last couple of miles to help out a fellow #HWI team member from the East Michigan group that was having a rough go of it. A village with a well becomes a source of hope, even for people not native to that village. It puts that village on a path of prosperity and growth.
