Final Training Run In Minnesota
Final Minnesota run this morning. Got some hills in as well as a fast interval run. The temperature has been getting warmer, the feels like is now above zero. Makes for a bit more of a comfortable run when the wind gets wiping. Post Thanksgiving Long Run
So I didn’t manage to get my run in on Thanksgiving day, we had a very early morning and by the time the kids were in bed it was getting late and I just didn’t feel up to an hour long run that late at night. I did get out and get it done. #HWI #Run4Water #GroundhogMarathon #Garmin #Running
Why I Ran A 5K This Morning

An “Easy” 5 Mile Recovery Training Run
Decided to hit some of what used to be a pretty regular route for me. I still tweaked it a bit though. Today was supposed to be an “easy” run but it was more of a “comfortable” run for me, basically if I was comfortable running a sub-8 minutes per mile then that is what I ran. Perhaps it could be considered a fartlek run I guess. However, with my typically inconsistent running pace ever run I do could be considered a fartlek run. Ha. The number of children in Africa that suffer from lack of clean water is staggering.
