Feeling 99% Today!

Thanks for all the prayers guys! I’m feeling about 99% back to normal today. Got up at my normal 5:30 am, got some snow moved and got to work early. Now I’m patiently awaiting my PowerBook to arrive, hopefully the weather doesn’t have a negative effect. Well, have a great day all!

P.S.
Just did a quick check, it arrived in Minneapolis at 6:04 am. It’s close.

Excellent Weekend…

Well, I didn’t get a post made last night. I just got a little tired to make the post. Also, there wasn’t much that went on Saturday. I got up around 9:30 and got around to getting my remaining leaves cleaned up and taken to the dump before the rain came. I made some bread in the bread machine for the first time. Expectations, Communication…When Life Gets Too Busy

Well I got a rather unfortunate email today. I’ve basically been let go for the website project I was working on. The truth of the matter is there were things that myself and the company that hired me didn’t do very well. I kind of feel a little frustrated as I thought I made myself very clear how busy my schedule was before they agreed to hire me. Apparently I didn’t do a good enough job. It would also seem as though they really didn’t read the contract before they agreed to it. It clearly states what I was expecting. Switchfoot Fights DRM!

In a story the came out earlier this week. One of the band members of Switchfoot was expressing his anger about the DRM the was put on their latest album. The DRM encoded albums were preventing people from ripping the CDs for use on portable medai players. He was posting instructions on how to circumvent the DRM. Well Sony & EMI have announced that they are recalling the CDs and replacing them. EMI says that it was a mistake. Let’s give it up for Switchfoot!

Busy Times, Time is Short

So these days have been busier than ever. It’s been LB Convention time this week, and I’ve been putting in some full days for that. Tomorrow after work I head down to the Twin Cities for the night, and in the morninig begin my trip out to Michigan. Every day, and every week, I see my time hear coming closer to an end. I’m constantly torn between feelings of excitement for what God has to come, and sadness when thinking of all the people that I’ll be leaving behind. I don’t know what God has in store for me.
