How Does The Fediverse Feel About Users Coming From Twitter?
I understand that the #Fediverse does in fact have a distinct difference from #Twitter, and there is a lot that happens on Twitter, or can, that the Fediverse doesn’t want. However, I think regardless of whether people have the misconception that the Fediverse, and platforms like #Mastoson , are going to become the new Twitter (it isn’t IMO), I think it’s OK to welcome new people in and help those that genuinely want to experience something new and be a part of a welcoming community online.

I know about the list of embeds. It’s a WordPress site, that is the type of embed that I’m talking about. It renders as expected in the Block Editor but the Kadence theme is not rendering it on the frontend.
Gotcha. Just tested on a fully updated Kadence themed site and it’s working with that specific URL on a test site. Please do reach out to support, they’re more equipped than the marketing people at helping you get a solution. kadencewp.com/help-center/
That’s a hard one to answer… it all depends on which server you’re on.
Yes, that’s very true. I guess I would hope that people looking into the Fediverse would find an instance that fits with the kind of community they’d want to start out with. Also, I would hope that the Fediverse would have some level of initial grace in helping newcomers learn what it means to be a part of the Fediverse.
