Getting in a Thursday 3 Miles at KCC

Even though it is now considered the “off season” for the West Michigan #HWI team, the need for clean water hasn’t been completely met. Thanks to the work of the team this past year many thousands more will have access to clean water, but the harsh reality is that there are still thousands more that will still not have access to clean water. This is another reason why I feel compelled to keep running, even through the winter months, to continue to bring awareness to the huge need that is still before us. While today was a recovery run pace the miles almost doubled from last week. With only 3 weeks until race day the miles will increase for a short time but then will start decreasing weekly up to race day. #HWI #Run4Watet #WhyIRun #GRGus Give to clean water: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr

Putting in a well in Africa takes planning, which is not unlike using a training plan for running with a race as the goal. In order for a well to be successfully drilled there is a lot of planning and preparing that needs to be done.
