Short Easy Wintery Run

Since I’ll be getting a lot of walking in today on my daughter’s field trip I decided to just get it a few miles this morning. Nice short slow run. It was much colder than yesterday so I put on an extra layer. Sporting my new winter running gloves with reflective finger covers. Since the majority of my running is in the dark I do my best to think about safety and being seen.

Doing 15 miles I needed to make sure I could get my run wrapped up by the time the HWI Team met at 7am. I got done with plenty of time to hang out with the team before things got started. Well, this morning was not a typical training run. With having to start work at 5:30 in the morning my focus was mostly on getting done as quick as I could.
