As I headed off camping with the family this weekend I was choosing what to bring to keep my phone charged. When you are a tent camping family you only have so much room. The charging pack I received for speaking at last year’s Grand Rapids, and the USB conversation dongle from this year made a great compact charging setup.

I had the opportunity to witness, first hand, the water situation in Sierra Leone, Africa. It is an honor that Hope Water Intl is working with World Hope Intl in a joint mission to bring clean water to Africa. For many in Africa the journey to gather water is a treacherous one. They may not even end up gathering clean water. Taking On The Wet And Windy Tuesday Run

It was a kind of interesting morning, weather wise. There was some big thunder before 4am but when I got outside for my morning run there wasn’t much for rain, just some sprinkles and mist off-and-on. The wind came and went as well. The crazy thing once again is to see my pace improve of the course of my run. Instead of what one would normally see, where your pace might get slower over the course of a run, for me my pace got better the longer I ran. It was a good morning for a run all around. Only a few more weeks until the #RiverBank and I think I’m feeling good about my training so far. #HWI #WhyIRun #Run4Water
