First Training Run Since Sierra Leone
Got my first run in since coming back from #SierraLeone after trying to recover from jet lag and a cold. Felt great to be back out there, definitely with a whole new perspective of why I’m running. Spent a lot of time thinking about those I encountered in Sierra Leone as well as those running in the Bay Shore run today. #HWI #HessLakeRun #GRMarathon #Run4Water
Another “Easy” Run With The New App And Training Plan
I’m starting to feel like I’m getting back into the groove of running again. The biggest thing for me is that I need to have a plan for running. Early mornings are really the best time for me to get a run in. In order for me to be motivated to get up early, and not stay in bed, I need to have a goal and a plan. I’m not sure if I’ll ever truly be at a place to simply run for the sake of running, and that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy my running. Getting in A 10K+ Run
Clean water has a huge effect on a village. When clean water is readily available it means students can go to school that would have otherwise had to spend their days collecting water. First Snowy Run, First Ice Beard
The winter running season has officially begun. It was just a light snow so the sidewalks were still clear for the most part. We’ll see what they’re like tomorrow after the snow accumulates.
