The Blessings of Water on a Hot Summer Run
To think about not having water on these hot runs, or water that will make you sick so you can’t even run, really puts our privilege in the U.S. into perspective. #Run4Water #WhyIRun #HWI #KCC #GRHalfMarathon

Experiencing Enable The Children, Finishing at the Beach
Today was an amazing experience with Enable The Children. It was both heartbreaking and encouraging to see what is happening for special needs children in Sierra Leone. Another great morning with the #HWI team this morning. Had a great time finishing out the run talking with Steve, who gave an awesome and inspiring #WhyIRun story this morning. #Run4Water #GRMarathon
Cool Morning Interval Run Focusing On My Family
Decided to “follow” the #Endomondo training plan today to get a longer interval run in. So far I’ve been doing some mix of the #HWI training plan and the Endomondo one. We’ll see how well that works out for me. It was a very cool morning for a run, I was pretty surprised when I stepped out the door. It made for great weather for a run. While I listened to a #worship running mix I focused on praying for my wife and kids. Life has been challenging recently with the kids. I’m glad they are back in school but that is presenting it’s own challenges as well. #GRMarathon #Run4Water
