I’ve known for a long time that I’m a perfectionist and a planner. This had always been both a strength and a great weakness for me. The major weakness is that I’m always trying to figure out God’s plan and I turn my perfectionism into unrealistic expectations of others. Also my perfectionism takes a lot of joy out of life. It means that unless it’s perfect I’m not happy, and the kicker is that it most likely 9 times out of 10 it isn’t going to be perfect. That’s a pretty sad way to live honestly. Dear Family and Friends, You may have already heard, but I wanted to let you know that Kjirsti and I have a new son! Owan Ryan Nilsen was born on January 28, 2006, at 12:47am, and weighed 6 lbs., 12 oz., 20 inches. He is a good size, but came five weeks early Kjirsti went into labor around 10:00pm on Friday, January 27, and gave birth to Owan at 12:47am on Saturday, January 28. He appeared on the scene really fast! The delivery went fine, and the doctor and nurses took care of Owan and watched his vital signs to make sure he was adjusting to his new environment. The Rat Race…

Well, it’s been crazy lately. I’ve had so many things going on. So I haven’t gotten much for posts up in the last few days. I was up way too late trying to get me photo gallery going on Thursday, after my walk. The walk Thursday was very relaxing. I wish I didn’t have so much going on all the time. I really enjoy the time outdoors, I can’t wait until the camping trip this weekend. As a result of being up so late I had a hard time getting up Friday morning, this meant I didn’t get my devotions done before work. It’s been a real battle for me to change my sleep schedule. Dusting Off The Blog in The Corner

I’m going to keep this a little short as I’m actually typing this all out on my phone. I decided to try to consolidate and at the same time bring my old blog up-to-date and back into the picture. I haven’t really taken the time to blog in years. Going to perhaps pick things up again, while at the same time tie in my Twitter and facebook. We’ll see how it goes, not making any commitment, plus I can only type so long on my phone before nmy hands get tired. More to come later, hopefully.
